"It pains us to eat store-bought ice cream in winter. But buy we must until May, when Woodside Farm Creamery opens. Thank a great staff and Joe and Jim Mitchell, two icons who get up in the wee hours to milk about 30 Jersey cows before overseeing the long process of mixing fresh fruit, nuts, or myriad spices to make the richest ice cream in these parts. The list of flavors is too long to mention, but Peanut Butter and Jelly and Fluffer-Nutter won national awards. That doesn’t stop us from craving the Cappuccino Crunch."
